I placed the order at 10:20 PM on the night of the 25th, got the shipping notification email just after 1 PM yesterday, got this ring around 6 PM tonight. I was speechless! According to the email I received from Amazon, it stated that I should've gotten it between August 31st to September 3rd, so they went above beyond my expectations with the shipping.

br /The ring itself came in a small square red box with a piece of grey foam on top of it to protect the amber. Some are saying a piece of black foam was holding the ring upright, but in my case, it was a piece of white foam. The picture is exactly what it looks like. I fell in love with it instantly. The amber catches the light beautifully, in some instances, it looks like there's a bit of glitter within the stone. (The "glitter" is actually air bubbles trapped within the stone.) It's utterly fascinating to watch in the light. The piece itself is extremely well made, the silver detail is what you'd expect. I thought the raised crown was exactly what the ring needed because it'd look somewhat flat without it. But make no mistake: it's all about the amber with this ring.

br /The fit of the ring was true to size. I bought the size 9, as I expected, it's a bit loose on my right ring finger (where I usually wear my rings), but it fits my right middle finger perfectly. The ring also tapers at the bottom for a more comfortable fit. The company's photos show the widest part, but it's still very sturdy. (I've uploaded 11 pictures to the gallery, so you can see what my ring-- the card that came with it--looked like.)

I don't know about the other reviewer, but my stone was simply lovely. I could not have been more pleased with this ring. Very unique and eye catching. Considering buying the darker amber one too!

After ordering, the ring arrived in two days.
br /It was in a red box and the interior was black.
br /Overall, the front of the ring is quite lovely.
br /The green amber shines and sparkles when exposed to light.
br /Even without much light the stone captures any light and reflects it.
br /The side view of the ring looks decent.
br /The crown part is raised on a platform (only noticeable from the side).
br /The hand parts of the ring are concave outwards...
br /Nevertheless, the ring is comfortable to slide on and off.
br /Behind the heart on the inside is stamped, "Poland... 925."
br /The back of the ring is sort of on the thin side.
br /The sterling silver is really as bright as the photo shows.
br /I think it would look even better with a slight tarnished antiqued look.
br /The ring is quite sturdy, not easily malleable... unless you had the intention to do so.
br /I won't be worrying about the amber falling off while wearing it either.
br /The ring also came with a slip of paper stating its authenticity and brief how-to-care-for instructions.

br /The thing(s) I am happy about: The overall design, the green amber, and the sizing.
br /The thing(s) I am not so thrilled about: The thin back, the raised crown structure...

br /Edit: Found a tiny crater/scratch on surface of the green amber- not noticeable at all though.

I received this ring as a gift from my boyfriend and loved it the minute I saw it! It's beautifully crafted and the green amber sparkles quite nicely. Definitely one of the prettiest rings I own and a great complement getter.

At first I was a little disappointed by the depth of color in the stone (I expected it to be darker like the picture on the computer), but it changes with different lighting. It is a lovely ring and I've had many complements on it.
